BIO

Adam Denton is a sonic artist and researcher working across media and materials. He has released solo music under the name SW1n-HUNTER on labels like Opal Tapes and Hard Return. Between 2013-2021 he ran The Old Police House, a place for exploratory sonic art in Newcastle, UK, alongside Mariam Rezaei.

Denton completed his PhD at SARC, Queens University Belfast in 2025: his research interests include the infrastructural conditions of performance, the politics and ethics of touring, noise and embodied performance writing. He currently lives in Carrickfergus, NI.
