BIO
Diego Ratto is an Italian composer based in Los Angeles. He holds a PhD in Music Composition from University of California, Santa Barbara, and studied film scoring at UCLA. He also earned a Master’s in electroacoustic composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Bachelor’s degrees in jazz guitar and electronic music from the “A. Vivaldi” Conservatory in Alessandria, Italy.
His work has won several awards, including Prix Russolo 2022, Prix CIME 2017, Golden Lala 2020, Sound of Silences Film Scoring 2020 (Romaeuropa Festival, Cineteca Bologna).
