Gabubabu ensemble

gabubabu ensemble is an ever-transforming group whose instrumentation changes whenever its founder, Gabriela Wacławska (she/her/they/them),  a classically trained pianist and composer with a strong electroacoustic focus discovers a sound that sparks her interest.

At its core, the ensemble is built around Gabriela and James Ho — rapper, producer, and, when needed, also a keyboardist, double bassist, or guitarist. Together, they improvise and occasionally compose music that seeks to capture the essence and the zeitgeist of the world we live in.
