Matt Rogerson is a neurodivergent musician, sound artist and improviser based in Leicester, UK. His research-practice investigates the interdisciplinary convergence of sonic autoethnography, disability studies, generative sound art, biofeedback and noise music to elucidate the idiosyncratic and revealing autistic cognition.
He has presented his work at the IRCAM Forum (Paris, FR), NIME (Utrecht, NL), SOUND/IMAGE Festival (UoG, Greenwich, UK) and the Music and/as Process Study Group (UCA, Farnham, UK). Furthermore, he accommodates for his musical practice as a guitarist and improvisor by engaging in contemporary and experimental ensemble projects.
