Qiaosheng Lyu is an artist/researcher working with sound and objects to create sounds. With a background in Design and Digital Media, her practice focuses on designing and performing with artificial interfaces translating between sound, movement, and intangible human traits including memories and emotions.
Lyu’s works explored the relationship between body and sound through designed interfaces as extensions of the human form. Through these practices, she investigates the themes of prosthesis embodiment, somaesthetics, and post-humanism.
