BIO
Rodrigo Romero-Flores is a sound composer, visual artist and poet. He holds a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from Universidad de Chile and specialization in Field Recording: Soundscape Composition from Goldsmiths, University of London.
His practice combines field recordings, electroacoustic instruments, spatial audio composition, and visual media to create soundscapes and installations. Working from Practice as Research methodology, he develops immersive environments exploring relationships between sound, place, and memory.
A two-time Arts Council of Northern Ireland award recipient, Rodrigo was associate artist at SARC (Queen’s Belfast Univeristy) and artist in residence at XR Lab, Digital Arts Studios, Belfast.
