Sveið is a UK-based free jazz power trio, powered by AI, featuring Mercury Prize-nominated saxophonist James Mainwaring, Costa Rican-British laptop improviser Federico Reuben, and Norwegian drummer Emil Karlsen. Instead of replacing human creativity, Sveið train, hack, and negotiate with AI in a process of real-time co-creation. Their debut album, “Latent Imprints” was recently released on 577 records.
